IGN gave Sonic & The Black Knight a 3.9 very recently and a lot of people are extremely angry about this. I have not yet played the game myself, but I've watched "Justin.TV" play over an hour live on the Internet and from the live chat with the users there, it seems that this is actually a good game. Also if you liked The Secret Rings, you're gonna probably like this as well.
Now here is a very amusing quote from a disgruntled IGN reader who was really fed up with Matt's (seemingly) biased bad reviews for 2 of the 3 Sonic games on the Wii(Unleashed was not reviewed by him):
"Listen here you motherfuckers, I've had it with these awful fucking reviews, especially when you didn't get half way through Unleashed! I demand you give The Black Knight a fair review! You're just a bunch of biased dickheads who think they're clever with their shitty jokes. I hope you all die in a fucking fire, and your families are murdered you fucking pieces of shit!"

Who here has played the new Sonic game and feel that IGN and Matt have grossly let you down? Or could you care less about what one guy thinks?
I'll be playing the game in a few days and will let you know what I think about it soon.
ign gave a 3.6 whatever, i don't expect its that bad but come on theres no such thing as a good 3D sonic game and this one seems the most casual offering yet on wii its not what wii want......and poor controls are unexceptable..but ign are taking the wii here it aint that bad .

ReplyDeleteSpend more money than you make: You go bankrupt in the long term. It's not THAT hard. Then again; they believe the ultra stupid razor/razor blades model which seems to be infecting software now as much as it was for hardware companies (minus Nintendo and maybe Microsoft if you consider them to be following the government model of spending.)
Even if you don't believe in Cubeboy's assertions; you can state this fact: Wii is the market leader console wise. DS is the market leader video game platform wise. PSP is in third place and everyone else is below it. You support the market leaders in full. Keep being a jealous freak; you lose your business/job. It's not hard to figure out. Get over your tech whoring and start showing some entertainment talent; otherwise, just get out and be a graphics card producer.
