Wii U - Another Garden Demo video shows more details
This is another video taken from the E3 show floor with the Japanese Garden Tech demo. Whats cool about this one is the fact that the screen stays on the Hawk sitting on the rock for an extended period of time.
Take a look at about 27 seconds into the video and notice the amazing lighting on the Hawk. You can see the sunlight reflecting off the water and that water reflection is lighting up the underside of the Hawk. Really amazing stuff.
I know that a lot of people took the recent Shigeru Miyamoto interview a bit the wrong way. Remember that in the interview he said that the Wii U would not be "dramatically more powerful" than the current systems. That doesn't mean it won't be noticeably better graphically, it's just that we know that graphics are getting so good all around that to make a console with dramatically better graphics would be very expensive for Nintendo and for the gamer to pay for.
metaldave:::: i welcome you to the kingdom of commonsense and truth what he said was a commonsense statement about graphics saturation and cost he was being OBTUSE joking yeah we can make a super power console but whos going to pay thousands of dollars for it I JUST LOVE HOW THE IDIOT HARD-LY CORES HAVE YET AGAIN TWISTED A STATEMENT MADE BY NINTENDO INTO A LIE IT NEVER STOPS WITH THESE PEOPLE CHRIST SAKE !!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHE MADE A PASSING STATMENT REGARDING COMMONSENSE INSTEAD OF GOING ZORGGGGGGG POLYGONS ZORGGGGGG FLOPS LIKE SONY DO BECAUSE THERE IDIOTS.....
its far more powerful and efficient than ps3 and with out a seconds doubt its disc system will stream data much much faster than ps3s snail drive
WHY DO I KNOW THIS BECAUSE WIIU HAS NINTENDO ON THE BOX THATS WHY
can someone shoot the hard-ly cores please
Personally, I think Miyamoto shouldn't have made that statement. Nintendo is planning to appeal to the hardcore audience this time around, and saying that the console will not be "dramatically" better than 360/PS3 isn't going to give any reassurance. At the same time, I do understand that Nintendo can't just say that the Wii U will be leaps and bounds over 360/PS3 because it will bring up concerns of pricing. "Powerful" tends to be a codeword for "expensive" nowadays. If Nintendo really wants to keep a tight lip on the processing power issue, then they shouldn't have brought it up, and just let the games and demos speak for themselves. They did a fantastic job of that with E3.
ReplyDeletewater looks great
ReplyDeleteshigsy will never bow to a small group of morons self proclaimed as hardcore.
ReplyDeleteiv noticed theres a sudden rise in powerpc 476fp type cpus being used not power7,wiiboy101s reseach now being passed of as there research. wiiboy101 said multi core broadway 2 based on shrunk powerpc 32bit plus edram like 18 months ago neogaf hardlycores claiming a nintendo fans research as there own.. that is sad and frankly expected there all mindless over @ gaf anyways.
a tri-core broadway 2 with big edram could be 20 x broadway and only use twice the power interesting
Incredible Graphics best ive seen on any platform tell me whats better i cant think of anything this good Reggie stressed the tech demos done on early tech demos
