After sharing some thoughts and information on what these journalists and websites have been reporting, about half way through this video I share my idea of how smart it would be for Nintendo to release Smash Bros Wii U early - maybe a month - and whoever buys the Wii U version will get a download code for the 3DS version at no extra cost. If the consumer does not buy the Wii U version, they would then have to purchase the 3DS version at full price. It is obvious that the casual gamer does not really understand why they need a Wii U so it is up to Nintendo to go after the people that got them into the video game home console business in 1983; the actual gamers that play deep experiences and appreciate effort.
Right now Nintendo only has a few games for this crowd and while nearly 6 million have been sold, they still have a lot of work to do to get these gamers to trust that the Wii U will not only last through this year but also until at least 2016.
Not a bad idea at all.
