It's been a long time since I played a Mario Party game, maybe since the Gamecube days. Mario Party is all about simple fun that everyone can enjoy, giving all a chance to win even if you can't win at all the mini games. Many have criticized the series for this since it doesn't really require any skill in the gameplay. For this game, it's hard to tell just yet if this is just more of that kind of strategy in the game mechanics.
